White Mourning

it was worth it though because I think it came out better on the second try ..
yiss this is an old drawing that I finished up recently~

So this is my old OC, Lucerito. omg the last time I drew her was a few years ago I think
She was done on one layer while the BG and stuff was on another. This is my first time taking advantage of light modes on SAI *_* I tried not to abuse it though haha ^ ^;;

So here's the story: Lucerito's fiancé, LeRoyyy (whom I also drew awhile back T_T) is leader of the kingdom. He was always bored of his castle, so he often escaped to peace at an abandoned church. He liked how the morning sunlight shone through the clerestories. The church was the only place he felt at ease, so he marked it as his property. He then filled the building with pure water at several inches in depth, and used earth magic to let white chrysanthemums grow and prosper on the surface. He is usually found alone in his white garden, but sometimes Lucerito accompanies him.

So I guess you can assume what happens based on the drawing. Their relationship is saddddd. Anyway I am very pleased with how it came out and I hope you guys like it too!
